Following an earlier fault at their signalling carrier, high traffic loads are experiencing delays still.
Steps are underway between EE and their carrier to try and mitigate the issue.

We are currently investigating an issue affecting SMS delivery to EE Network.
Customers may experience intermittent delays for messages sent to EE subscribers (native and ported to EE).
